VOLUNTEERS
Our Community Connection

Make a difference in the lives of people right in your own neighborhood...

Only through the generosity and goodwill of our team of volunteers are we able to provide many of the extras our patients, families and visitors enjoy. Many departments throughout the Hospital utilize volunteers, including Nursing, Physical Therapy, Radiology, Dietary, Medical Records, Patient Transport, etc. If you are interested in finding out how you can assist in serving the community through volunteering at your community hospital, please contact:

HARRISON COMMUNITY HOSPITAL A Division of Wheelng Hospital
As part of its vision of improving the overall patient experience, Harrison Community Hospital is pleased to announce the completion of renovations to its Emergency Room.  The renovation project included new flooring, cabinetry, exam lighting, painting and wall protection.  The adjacent Registration area and "quiet rooms" also received new flooring and painting.  Four of the six ER treatment rooms now offer enclosed patient spaces with glass doors and curtains rather than curtain-only separators providing much greater privacy for the patient.   The project also included new cardiac monitors, doppler ultrasound unit, several beds including a gynecological patient stretcher, patient monitors, and IV poles.

THANK YOU!

Harrison Community Hospital would like to extend a warm "Thank You" to the Boy Scouts of Troop 269 Cadiz, Ohio and their leader, Woodie Dixon for helping with our recent landscaping updates and campus beautification.  In addition, the Boy Scouts had also volunteered their time to help with our recent Summer Concert Event "Blues For A Cure" which raised $18,000.  These funds will go towards assisting families in Harrison County in attempts to offset medical bills associated with Cancer treatment.
